Friends of Hospice Ottawa’s staff and trained volunteers provide and facilitate access to compassionate care for people with life threatening illnesses, offering support options, honouring choices and supporting their families and friends.

Our services include:

Friends of Hospice Ottawa works on a care team model, with the belief that teams of caregivers from different walks of life can best meet the needs of individuals and families who are living with complications of life threatening illness. A care team often includes spouses or partners, families, friends, neighbours, colleagues, doctors, nurses, personal support workers and volunteers.

Friends of Hospice Ottawa works with other organizations and individuals in the community to provide access to quality hospice palliative care. These affiliations include:

Hospitals
Health centers
Community resource centres
Long term care facilities
Churches
Community care access center
Retirement homes
Other Hospices

All services are provided without charge. Your donations are welcomed to help us fund and expand our programs.
