Friends of Hospice Ottawa recognizes that end-of-life care is diverse, and may be stressful, frightening and confusing.  We encourage clients, the families and friends of clients and our volunteers to seek as much information as they can to help with important decisions.

The Friends of Hospice library offers a wide selection of books, DVDs, audiotapes, and CDs available for loan on subjects such as: caregiver support, meditation & relaxation, cultural and spiritual issues, living with cancer, cookbooks, medical references and more.

Friends of Hospice Ottawa has a history of providing educational opportunities and training for professionals, volunteers and the general public who want to broaden their understanding of palliative and hospice care, and further enhance their skills in supporting individuals and their families living with a life threatening illness or who are bereaved.
